Post Advanced Properties Panel
The exact list of fields that appears in this panel depends on your Post Type configuration.
URL title "slug"
When you use clean URLs, this is the part at the end of the URL that uniquely identifies a post. For more information, please visit Editing Slugs On An Item.
Assigning tags to your post makes it easier for readers to navigate your blog and locate the posts they want to read.
It especially helps locating posts related to each other. This can be done automatically by the Simple Related Posts List Widget.
Separate tags with comma (,). Since version 5.0.6, b2evolution comes with an autocompletion tool that shows you suggestions based in the already saved tags at the same time you are typing in the field.
To be used in RSS feeds for example.
Link to url
Use this parameter to link internal or external resources from the post. Skins where
$Item->url_link() is implemented, will display the url as a link in the selected position.
If the post type is Podcast and the URL points to an audio file, an audio player will be displayed instead of the link itself.
Here you can enter the ID of a parent post (if the current Post Type allows this).
By default, this will display a link from the child post to the parent post in disp = single.
This field allows you to specify an alternative title for your post which will be used as the title tag on single post pages. This is most useful for SEO.
If left empty, the regular post title will be used for title tags.
Note: this field will also be used whenever you call $MainList->get_filter_titles() in "single" or "page" display modes. This is useful for not displaying the same title twice on skins like custom (as of v2.5).
If you don’t enter a meta description you can optionally decide to use the excerpt instead.
If you don’t type in meta keywords, you will also be given the option to use tags instead.
Configuring this panel
