Adding Videos to Posts
There are several ways of adding videos to your posts:
Using an External Video Hosting Service
This means you upload your video to Youtube, Vimeo, Dailymotion, etc.
You can then use a plugin such as Video Plug plugin to embed your videos into a post.
Note: For security reasons, it is better to use a plugin to control the video players that can be used rather than letting users paste any video player code they may find on the internet (by default the Html Validator will prevent that.)
Uploading Videos to your b2evolution Server
In this case, you upload your videos and attach them to your post just like you would do with images.
You will then need to install a video player plugin such as Flowplayer Plugin (Video) to display the video file in a player.
Note: For compatibility reasons with all browsers and platforms, it is generally recommended to use the
.mp4 file format.
