Meta comments / Internal Comments are non-public comments visible only by editors of a given post (Users who have permission to edit that post).

The meta-comments allow editors to discuss the contents of the posts when a team discussion is needed to work on the post.

Meta comments appear in various places, including the bottom of the post edit screen. See: Item Meta Comments Panel.

Enabling meta-comments

1. Meta comments will basically always be available to the Collection Admins.

2. To make them available to more users:

   1. Enable advanced permission management for the Collection you’re working on
   2. Check that the User or User Group has the blue "meta comments" checkbox checked in Advanced User Permissions or Advanced Group Permissions.
