A Forum is a particular type of Website (or a subset of a website) in which Users can have group discussions by creating Topics and by replying to exising topics.

Oftentimes (and this also what b2evolution offers), users will be given the choice to participate in several different forums, all listed on the Forums home page. In such a situation, multiple forums can be grouped together under Meta Categories.

In b2evolution a forums site is handled as a Collection.
