An email Recipient is an individual User who will receive an email:

• as part of an Email Campaign
• as part of an Email Sequence
• or because they are subscribed to updates on a Collection or a Post
• or who will receive any other type of email Notification

Depending on the situation, the recipients can be either manually or automatically selected:

• In the case of a Campaign, the recipients are selected to be part of the Recipient Set of the Campaign.
• In the case on an Update Subscription and other Notifications, the recipients are automatically selected by the system because they are subscribed to specific types of notifications.
