DB means DataBase

This is the software that stores all the data manipulated by b2evolution CMS: Items, Comments, Users, etc.

Only large Attachments such as images or videos are stored as Files on disk.

b2evolution CMS is designed to work with the MySQL / Maria DB database. See: System requirements.
