A Front Page is the top level page of a Collection.

If your website or b2evolution installation consists of only one Collection, then the Front Page of that Collection is also the Home Page of your site.

However, if you have multiple Collections (for example a website with multiple sections)), then each of the Collections//Sections have a Front Page. In this case, your site Home Page is the Front Page of your Main Collection.
