a User with special privileges. In b2evolution there are basically two contexts for a Owner:

• Collection Owner: The owner of a Collection will have almost all permissions on that Collection’s settings and contents. A few special settings (which are marked with [Admin]in the ) are reserved to Site Admins though.

• Post Owner: The owner of a Post is generally the Author of the post and by default has infinite edit permissions on that Post. However, if Advanced Permissions are turned on for the Collection in which that Post resides, then his permissions are restricted to what is configured in the advanced permissions.
