Collection Permissions
This panel lets you select high-level Permission settings for the current Collection.
By default, for most collections (except Forums), this panel looks like this:

Owner:
The owner defined here will have almost all permissions on the current collection.

Permission Management: (Simple vs. Advanced Permissions)
If you need more granular permissions (e-g: several authors, editors & moderators for the collection, switch from "Simple permissions" to "Advanced permissions".
When you switch to advanced permissions, the options in the panel change a little:

And more importantly, 2 new tabs appear: User perms & Group perms:

Allow access to:
With simple permissions management, you can choose between:
- Making the collection completely public
- Allowing access only to logged-in Users
- Allowing access only to the owner define above (private collection – although Admins will also have access)
With advanced permissions management, you can choose between:
- Making the collection completely public
- Allowing access only to logged-in Users
- Allowing access only to the members of the collection. You can define who is a member in the User perms & Group perms tabs.
