Template Tag: Comment Excerpt

This template tag displays an (automatic) excerpt of the current Comment.

[Comment:excerpt|format=htmlbody|maxlen=254|tail=…]

Param	Default	Usage
`format`	`htmlbody`	Format to output. Possible values: `raw`, `htmlbody`, `urlencoded`, `entityencoded`, `htmlfeed`, `htmlhead`, `htmlattr`, `htrmlspecialchars`, `formvalue`, `xml`, `xmlattr`, `text`, `syslog`.
`maxlen`	`254`	Maximum length of the excerpt.
`tail`	`…`	Displayed after the excerpt if it has been truncated to the `maxlen` value.

This tag displays content only, it does not have a return value.
