Tiny URLs or Short URLs are shorter URLs to your content, which can be useful when positing on social media.
By default, b2evolution will generate Tiny URLs for all your content, base on your baseurl. But if you actually have a short domain that you’d like to use instead, enter it in "Advanced:"
IMPORTANT: This setting is only for generating links in the back-office. The resolving of tiny url links is automatic. All you need to do is point your short domains to the same IP and configured your .htaccess so that the requests get processed by b2evolution’s
index.php. b2evolution will then take care of the rest.PRO Features
b2evolution can automatically add tags (like utm_* params) when resolving a tiny URL and redirecting to the canonical URL.
This can be useful for tracking in Google Analytics or similar tools.
