This panel allows to set general settings for the User Group.
In b2evolution v6.6.4, the default groups are set up as follows:
The GroupLevel is useful to determine which users are allowed to moderate others. (See User Moderator.)
Additionally, by default the user groups will be displayed in descending order on this level. This allows to quickly grasp which groups have more permissions than others (as long as you follow this convention).
Levels can go from 0 to 10 and are mandatory. The default level for new groups is 4.
Access to Admin area
Determines whether the users in this group can access the Back Office when they’re logged in.
- No toolbar: users won’t be able to access the back-office at all and don’t even see the evoBar after login.
- No access: users won’t be able to access the back-office at all but has a limited version of the evoBar.
- Restricted: users can access the back-office, but don’t see the link in the evoBar.
- Normal: users can access the back-office and see a link to it in the toolbar.
