Suspect Users
This determines how b2evolution should handle suspect users.
There are several occasions when b2evolution can have a hint that a user is suspect:
- User registers from a suspected IP range or reverse DNS domain
- User has an email address from a suspected domain
- User logs in from a suspected country
In these cases, b2evolution can automatically move the user to a User Group of your choice. Typically a group with restricted permissions and also a group that will be periodically checked by a human.
You can also check specific User Groups to prevent their members from being ever considered as suspicious. Otherwise, you might demote admin from being an Administrator to a suspect user if he ever logs in from a suspected IP address or country.
