In this panel, you can set up your collection to notify various services when you publish a new post. See weblogs.com and blo.gs for information about such services.

All installed "ping plugins" will be listed in this panel. By checking/unchecking them, you can decide exactly which ones should get triggered when a post is published in this particular collection.

The default ping plugins are:

• Ping b2evolution.net: let us know your blog is alive!
• Ping Ping-O-Matic: this will forward your ping to many other services.
• Ping twitter.com: this will post a link to your new post on your twitter account (you must configure the Ping Twitter plugin accordingly first)
• Send webmentions: this will send a Webmention to any URL you mention in your post (provided that the destination implements the webmentions protocol and accepts the webmention.)
