I love Host Monster! They might cost a little more than other hosting places but I have found that it is way worth it! Not only does Host monster have all the space, email addresses, and bandwidth you would ever want or need but it also has every feature you could ever need! I have used HostMonster for about 2 years. They have great customer service and I get to speak to a live person which is important for me. The CPanel which are used for their sites are easy to use and I have no complaints.

I use Joomla for some of my sites and they work very well with HostMonster and if any MySql problems should occur they correct them quickly.

hostmonster is the best! I have used 3 previous hosting services. Hostmonsters tech support is beyond great. I love em!

I have been with Hostmonster for a little less then a year and I just have good things to say. I have been with godaddy and a few others and I am amazed with the quality of customer service.

Been using host monster for a few months, and it’s perfect. Could not ask for a more consistent, fast service.

I, too, love the ease and power of CPanel, but the recent upgrade to v11 crashed a portion of my site and files were lost in the recovery. The 24-hour tech line is very fast and the reps are very helpful. I’ve been with HM for over 4 years and have had nearly 100% up time until recently, when my site was down for almost 12 hours. I’m hoping these two glitches are just bad luck and not a future trend…

I have been with HostMonster for over 2 years and they have not let me down yet. Since I am very technical, I don’t have any issues in that department. The only issue I would have is with down time, and the down time with HostMonster is minimal. HostMonster is definitely recommended. Good review by the way :)

100% the best company I ever used. I love them , no need to keep looking, even provides me with an ssh shell account and lets me install open source software I wanted. great people, online chat fixed what I hd in minutes.

I’ve been customer with Hostmonster not too long about 10 days and I was really impressed with their service. Real person in U.S phone support, easy Cpanel to use. Simple click button to set up. I set up my entire blog not even 5 minutes compare to big boy like godady, take me at least 30 min and then wait for pending approval too. Go for Hostmonster 5 stars +

I switched to HOSTMONSTER.com after being a ViaVerio.com customer for over 10 years. The servers are more stable. Customer service is better and the is unbelievable. I moved 30 domains to them without any problems or hidden costs. I would HIGHLY recommend Hostmonster.com

I received a call from a customer rep after opening my account, asking for sensitive information like my registered url. When I explained it wasn’t safe on my end to provide this info to any unknown person who calls me on the phone, the rep threatened with deactivating my account (he had a “go ahead make my day” moment). No alternative ways of confirming my account were offered - he just went ahead and deactivated my account. I canceled and requested a refund.

I host with hostmonster and so far it works well for it and set another 03 web sites.

I been here with hostmonster one year, they’re good job, host very fast and security. Thanks.

Contrary to the article, SFTP/SSH is available. I just had to send a scanned copy of my ID for them to set it up.

Very reliable for hosting services and the system is updated and secure.

I have used hostmonster for 5 years and it’s great. There are 2 things I like about them:

- They give you ssh access to your account
- They have live chat support (which is great if you dont live in the US)

The only thing I don’t like is that lately they are charging for domain privacy(hide your personal information from whois entries)

Hostmonster is a decent hosting service for starting up your website. There is no need to buy expensive VPS hosting when your visitor count per day is low.

Though in the long run I havn\’t run into any problems yet, though I cautiously take backups often.

I have three accounts with them and all three having several issues with site loading and server. Today, the server where my account is is down since over 3 hours. 99% up time? My ass!
I pay quiet a few bucks to them but I am going to pay a little more and change all my accounts to hostgator. Never had any problem with my site there.

Service is OK but the renew billing is big jump That’s big hidden fee you have to face so be careful

I have generally been happy with Hostmonster over the past 4 years, but they just removed an option on CPanel that I use frequently.
I can no longer download backups of individual mySQL databases.

Seems to me that they are getting greedy - selling services, then removing features which they want you to pay for separately.

This is a troubling sign. No explanation, and treating customers poorly.

They provide a good service, but the costs are too high for what you get. I would gladly resign with them except for the fact my costs tripled for renewal.
