We had a pretty productive summer!

b2evo 6.6

First, we released b2evolution 6.6 in July and followed up with a couple of maintenance releases to polish it all the way up to "super stable" ;)

The latest version is 6.6.3. Make sure you upgrade! Remember you can use the auto-upgrade feature which makes it a 5 minute operation.

New skins

We are working on new skins for b2evolution v6. They will all be responsive (RWD) and based on Bootstrap.

The first new design we released earlier this week is the Horizon Blog Skin. It shows you how the Bootstrap framework can be transformed into something completely different from its basic look.

Skins repository

We are checking all skins from the skins repository for compatibility with b2evolution v6. When possible we also make small fixes so you don’t have to wait for the original authors to make them.

b2evolution.net update

You may have noticed that the b2evolution.net site is now powered by b2evolution v6.6 and that we have started upgrading sections (skins) to bootstrap skins, effectively making this site responsive as well.

One major improvement so far is the forums section.

A few sections like the homepage use more complex skins which we haven’t migrated yet, but it should be a matter of days now…
