I just downloaded the quick update patch from 5.0.8 to 5.0.9. There package contains the install folder with three files.

Why is there are a install folder included in a quick patch?

It was a mistake. It’s been removed. You can ignore the install folder for 5.0.8 to 5.0.9.

the quick upgrade patch for the latest version points to

http://b2evolution.net/downloads/b2evolution-5.0.8-to-5.0.9.zip/download

which is downloading a file called download without any file extension… well, I renamed it with a .zip extension and extracted the files, but I just thought you should know.
