Hi, I have surfing through the forum for two days now, and have found some people with post explaining how to require people that comment to login or register before they can comment.

I host a site for my friend, and he is getting tired of the spam. I have implemented several methods used in other spam related posts. It seems to work for a month, and then the spam starts flowing again. . .

Has anyone developed a hack or plugin that would require users to login to post a comment for b2evolution 1.6 alpha. I know there are some hacks for previous versions ov b2evo, but those hacks rely on code or sections of code that are not in b2evo 1.6.

Please help.

Thanks,

Worked like a charm. I didn't have the comment.post.php, so I just ignored that. Seems to work. I unchecked all the pingbacks and trackbacks as well.

Now to see if the spam stops flowing.

Thanks,
Mark P.

Based on your install you should find comment.post.php in b2evolution/blogs/htsrv/comment_post.php
