[3.3.3] no file manager available

My b2evolution Version: 3.3.3

I have quite a large blog with a lot of pictures and graphics. The file manager stopped working even after I upgraded to the latest version. Is there a size limit. I created a new blog with minimal posts and the file manager works fine. Any ideas? I have enough room on my web server

Yes there is a file size limit. Please see Global Settings > Files > File creation options > Maximum upload filesize

Just set the size limit.
