I can't remember it being possible in a current B2evo version, but I have seen it in the upcoming 2.0 (Blog settings -> features). You can get a preview in [url=http://demo.b2evolution.net/?revision=HEAD&php_ver=php5&mysql_ver=mysql5]Demo[/url] or [url=http://doc.b2evolution.net/b2evo_HEAD_snapshot.tgz]download[/url] the current CSV version (not stable).

So if nobody comes with a meaningful answer, you just have to wait a few weeks. :p

Your feed is simply another skin in these version (assuming you're on 1.8 or above).

Head to the skins directory on your host and have a play with _atom / _rdf / _rss / or _rss2 ... depending on what you want to achieve.

Seems to me that you can put in as much (or as little) as you want?

PS - An alternative is to use FeedBurner.com (which we do) and limit the Feed content to a teaser. (We do this by selecting the first 400 characters of the post ... then control that content via CSS, using a <p class="description"> paragraph</p> Feedburner displays the first 400 characters of the paragraph, but we've hidden it from our blog via CSS , using a "p.description display:none" directive.

There's more than one way to kill a bird (and get better SEO at the same time) :p !!

stk this sounds what I will need to do

I was testing Feedburner and Bloglisting and didn't want the whole feed to be displayed

this method can be used for the vbulletin feeds as well

will try this shortly and may need to ask a few questions
