IX Webhosting« Our call center is right here, in the US! In KY Hopkinsville, Kentucky; to be exact. We know that normally, just being located in the US wouldn’t be something to brag about, but with all of the complaints concerning support employees having too-low a command of English to help you, let alone greet you properly, we thought we should mention it. » |

IX are good as long as you get no traffic. I had a business account with them and slowly built up a bit of traffic, maybe 500 views a day for about 100 unique visitors and that’s when they locked my databases and that was the beginning of the end.
There’s no talking, no warning, no nothing.. your websites will disappear till someone at the other end may get back to you and maybe they’ll be sympathetic enough to unlock your databases so you can download it all then bugger off looking to start it all againg somewhere else..
Good luck dealing with them.
Sirs,
I just had to say it!
Thank you for your comment on support for US based help desk personnel.
I’m sick and tired of calling people who I barely can understand and know don’t understand me “They are not talking about the question I posed!”
After I told one AT&T help desk lady I was sorry but unable to understand her well enough to get the job done I was told, “I’m speaking English much good!”
I do have a URL but it is under construction. I’ll post it when I have something to show.
Thanks again,
Regards,
Pete Gandy
