Carbon Neutral Hosting

«With global climate change being an issue facing the world, we are pleased to have partnered with the ITF to help offset the carbon emissions produced when generating the electricity to power our servers. We are investing in a number of tree plantation projects at present, and will continue to invest over the course of the next 5 years.

As low as $4/month ! • Priceless Customer Service • SSH (Secure Shell)

We are pleased to be making a positive contribution to climate change and we hope our involvement will raise awareness of what can be done. »

So if I understand this right, the grren hosts are not actually running on green power. They run on regular power but try to offset the carbon emissions by planting trees, rigth?

well, at least it's better than those who do nothin about it at all!!

Yes that is true. WebHostingBuzz sends a monthly donation check to a tree planting organization in the UK that plants trees in various parts of the world such as Africa and Asia.
