I completly agree with the review, all those hosts they are almost the same. Noone will be perfect (read the reviews of even the biggests) but at least this is is trying to do something to minimize our carbon print on our endangered planet so I fully support GreenGeeks even though they are not the cheapest option around

I'm not a big fan of those "one-size-fits-all" plans, I wish they had more plans to choose from, but it was easy to set up and site was online very fast
...i hope I am one of those 100th and they plant a tree for me... do you think they'll name it after me?

Yes, it's always a good idea to have green energy based internet. But then, with highly exhaustive energy demands needed for such a thing, it remains to be seen how long is it sustainable!

I came to Hostclear from another web host because I was not technically savvy and my previous host did not give me enough/fast technical support. I was very happy with Hostclear on this part since they answered me almost instantly and walked me through my issues. ANd I was up and running in no time.
However, after a while my site got more traffic (a lot more) and they notified me that I was using more than my fair share (I was GRRR but indeed in the terms they do say not to use more than 25% of their resources) , Anyway, I upgraded from the shared server to a dedicated one and now I am happy again!

As good as any other host,cheap and they think green. Good customer support and no problem with the site. Recommended.

I own several sites and I chose GreenGeeks for 3 main reasons: they are US-based, they are wind-powered and they do nightly back-ups which is very important for my business.
I have been with them for 6 months now and I have nothing to say (i.e. nothing to complain about).
