I’m thinking of switching to greengeeks in May. I operate my website via joomla so I decided to contact customer support upon reading Peter’s comment about threats from greengeeks to remove joomla. Customer supports said that it was simply not true - they support joomla all right! Peter, how would you explain that?

I have worked with iPage and various other big name web hosting and multi-service providers. They are BY FAR the best. I am not a programmer, I’m a small business CEO who needed a well-designed website, dependable hosting and customer service, and ecommerce. I have been pleased and satisfied every single time I needed help or wanted to add or change my service or my sites. Their staff are professional but friendly, and I never have to wait too long to speak with a human being. I’m happy and I no longer worry about whether I chose the right company – after working with several, some more expensive, some less – iPage is my choice.

I have been with Lunar pages for several years. They used to have outstanding service. Not any more! Run a popular blog site or forums? Don’t bother with Lunar. If you go over 2% of cpu usage (due to a lot of hits to your site) and they start shutting you down. first by an occasional resource limit exceeded message. Followed by them CHOWNing your index.php taking your site down. Then after 3 days of emailing them about the issue they grant access to the file again and tell you to start banning IP addresses of those that visit the most? How is a person supposed to build a successful blog or forums if they have the servers so over crowded that 500 unique page hits a day causes them to panic? I’m fed up with lunar pages and will be moving to a new host in the very near future.

Have been a customer on Hostgator for 2 years now and my experience with them have been really terrific!!

My site got hacked several days ago, lose everything, but thanks to their customer support, they restore almost all of my data and my site is up and running in 24 hours after i asking for assistance.

It got really pricey after the initial discount gone though, but it is a great hosting solution for anyone… :D
