I get this error when trying to update spam blacklist:

Remote error: Invalid return payload: enable debugging to examine incoming payload (XML error at line 1, check URL) (2)

and when I submit URLs to the list, this error:

Remote error: Invalid return payload: enable debugging to examine incoming payload (XML error at line 1, check URL) (2)
Failed to report abuse to b2evolution.net.

Enabling debugging doesn't show a cause that I can see. As it says its a remote error, I'm thinking it is something broken on b2evo's side.

Any chance of getting this fixed any time soon?

b2evo version: 2.4.2 (yes I know its old, but updating ruins my setup)

It's probably because PHP 5.3 support was added in b2evo v3 only.

- enable error logs on your server
- make sure all PHP errors are logged
- try again and post the logs here.

I'm running 2.4.5 in various environments and it interacts with the antispam server without problem.
