JC John, what you’re asking for *is* what is handled by page level caching. It *does* cache individual post pages and it is designed to better handle the “Digg effect".

I actually want to request that as well but I do not know how to explain it well. So that’s what it is called “Page-Level Caching".

Also, would it be possible to add caching on per post? Maybe, posts the generates some X number of hits will trigger post-caching.

OR, generate static post file. It helps alot with the Digg-effect and similar services.

i like following your posts to have an insight of what you and b2team are up to and where b2 is going.. -or should i say b3 ? ;)

i hope you did not over-promote the evo there (:, IMO it is better off as is, quite small and cosy in here, on the other hand, i know larger the community is the more developers you have -but who said it was better ? :P- (not to mention anything about revenue and stuff, i can see that you guys (developers both core and the ones in the forums) are doing it heart felt at the first place..

bottomline is, hopefully b2 gets better, not bigger, better&bigger is ok also :P keep up the good work guys

ot: personally i am really looking forward to a stable 3.x version despite the fact that it’s not close enough that i can afford to wait to get my projects started with the evo, so i ll get started with the 2.x or risk it with the 3 (:
