Actually there are a lot of timezones like -3:30, +3:30, Mine is +5:30 (India) and +5:45 example that I gave is Pakistan. Its just that for a software like b2evolution that supports so many regional locales unlike many others, its a little unusual to see no support for these timezones. And the bottom line is that when I set it up for anyone else this kind of a question could come up.

But as of now with 1.9.1 making it to the download section, I think my problem is solved. Thanks Francois

(1.9 is downloadable on SourceForge, but it’s a secret, don’t tell anyone! :))

PS: where is it you have timezones like these? (15 minute differences?)

Thats good news at last ;-) Just one more question: Version 1.9.x has been in dev quite a while supporting timezones like +5:45 or 5.75. Is this a very complicated feature to backport?

Thanks and warm regards
