Since the stats table is the biggest in the database usually, it would be useful for users with really limited space on their host to be able to turn them off so that nothing is ever written to that table.

we should have account validation: you register, b2evo sends a mail with a link, you must click on the link to validate & activate your account.
We definitely need a nice $disp switcher.

would it possible to introduce something like
$Blog is wrong (there are not states of the blog in itself) and it would have to be sth like $Request or $Page, but you get the idea.
This is similar to a comment because it's a way for users to give you feedback. Giving a candy / voting for post the express if they've liked the post or not
Hope you understand

I don't think that the functions should be combined into more than one php tag on the sample templates, this way we'd avoid people wanting to get rid of the date for example, and killing their templates.
Backoffice post editing: The link 'back to posts' should go back to where you were before, including search parameters (like you viewed only posts in the pasts before, or only some categories).
When viewing the b2blogs.php page, you can see the number of the blog.
Very handy to put the blognumber in the stubfile.
To post on a multiblogpage the last posts of a certain category, you need the categorynumber.
At this time, I need to go to phpmyadmin, to have in a look in the categorytable.
Why not show that number on the b2categories.php page ?
It can't be that hard I think.
